
Jan Martin-McGuire

works of wildlife artist Ms. Jan Martin McGuire. As reported in US Art's
April edition Ms. McGuire is a rising star in the Wildlife art genre.

ranks and making their presence known..." as stated by US Art. Ms.
McGuire opens a world of exploration and allows the viewer to see an
unspoiled world as it struggles to survive. Her vision of nature has
captured countless awards and the deepest respect of her peers.
Born and raised in Colorado before her
parents moved to Oklahoma, Jan developed a deep love of nature in the
foothills of the Rockies. As a young tomboy she spent her youth climbing
trees, catching snakes and sketching the out of doors. With a life time of
experience and research, Jan’s fifteen years as a professional artist
has brought joy to thousands of collectors and artist enthusiast.
Jan’s originals have been shown and
sold to collectors worldwide. Her work has hung in the Smithsonian Museum,
Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum - Birds in Art, England’s Museum of Natural
History and Art and many other museums and institutions. Her paintings are
in collections worldwide. She has again been invited and selected by
CHRISITES of London to send a painting to their annual juried exhibition
and auction in June. Ms. McGuire also participated in the first annual
Singapore Wildlife Art Auction and sell by the prestigious Bonham’s
Auction House of London, England.
